Theology on Tap – Relativism

  • Wednesday, August 28, 7 – 9 PM
  • City Built Brewing Company, 820 Monroe Ave, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Catholic Connect will be hosting a RENEW Theology on Tap, a pastoral outreach of RENEW International and the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Deacon Ed LaRoche from St. Mary’s Visitation Parish near Byron Center, MI will be speaking on the topic of relativism. Consider this question: Would you rather follow the teachings of a great man (who we believe is God), or put your trust in an ideology that is simply a thing, a thought? August 28 is also the feast day of St. Augustine. What better way to celebrate than by delving into the topic of relativism! Not only does St. Augustine discuss relativism in his writings, but he is also the patron saint of brewers. So come support your local brew makers! We’ll meet at 7 PM to get food ordered, and then the talk and discussion will begin shortly thereafter
