We will start with our usual monthly meeting where we will be discussing next month’s activities. We will be taking nominations for upcoming open board positions. Please consider taking on a leadership role for next year…Connect needs you! We will be having Adoration and Confession in the Chapel just off the Narthex of Holy Spirit Church. If you haven’t been to it before, Father will kick off Adoration and then while he’s hearing confessions in the small room off the back of the chapel, we’ll spend time sitting quietly, reflecting and saying a rosary.
The Black Cat Halloween Bash

It wouldn’t be Halloween without a Connect Halloween party! Please join us for a night of costumes, a “black cat” gift exchange (aka white elephant, bonus points for Halloween-theme gifts!), food, and fun! A prize will be given for the best costume. (Note: A Roth Trucking shirt is NOT a costume, unless it is worn by someone other than Chris Cole who is dressing up as Chris Cole!)
Please note, this party is on FRIDAY night. Please bring a dish to share, but seeing as how most of us work on Friday, don’t feel bad about bringing something store-bought! Edwin and Erin will provide hot dogs/buns and we have some pop and beer (but not a ton, so bring your own drinks if you want something in particular.) https://www.

Connect Fall Fun Day

It wouldn’t be fall without some fun fall activities like pumpkin picking, cornmazes and bonfires! Come join us for an afternoon/evening of festivities.
We’ll start out meeting at Fruit Ridge Hayrides & Fall Fun at 3:30 pm where we’ll attempt their giant 10 acre challenge corn maze, which features a new theme and design each year by renowned maze designer Dave Phillips, author of numerous maze books and designer of the best corn mazes in North America. If you aren’t up for the challenge of the maze, they also offer hayrides, U-pick pumpkins and apples, a campfire and farm market.

Around 6 pm or whenever we’re done with the maze, we’ll head over to nearby Flo’s Pizzeria and Sports Bar to grab some dinner. They have a ton of options from burgers to pizza to salads and wraps all for less than $15 and is only 15 minutes from the maze.
